Rob Blanc
Director of Pitching
Originally from Sandy Hook, Connecticut, Rob Blanc is a pitching performance coach whose path was shaped as much by adversity as by competition. He played collegiately at Franklin Pierce University and pitched professionally in the Frontier League, working through multiple shoulder surgeries and the full cycle of injury, rehab, and return to the mound.
That experience drives his coaching. Rob began his career at Tread Athletics, helping grow it into a leader in remote player development through R&D, internal system building, and a specialization in return-to-throwing protocols. He later founded Inked Sports Performance, working directly with college and professional pitchers on biomechanics, pitch design, and individualized development.
At Push Performance, Rob builds the internal systems and remote infrastructure that let the throwing department develop pitchers at the highest level in the facility and across the country. He holds certifications through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (CPT, PES, FNS), the Brookbush Institute, and Square1.

Jamal Wade
Sports Performance Coach
Jamal Wade brings years of high-level playing and coaching experience to his role as a Strength and Pitching Coach at Push Performance. A former Division I athlete, Jamal played alongside his brother, LaMonte Wade Jr. (San Francisco Giants), at the University of Maryland, competing in multiple Big Ten and NCAA tournaments, including a Super Regional and a Big Ten Championship appearance.
He was selected in the 17th round of the 2017 MLB Draft by the Seattle Mariners and spent five seasons as a professional pitcher. After retiring from pro ball, Jamal continued to impact the game through private coaching and youth development with the Evoshield Canes.
Now at Push Performance, Jamal combines his on-field experience with advanced training methods and technology to help athletes reach their full potential.

Before GCU, he was at Nicholls State University, directly responsible for Baseball, Softball, and Women's Soccer while also assisting with the Football program. He has also spent time at Webber International University and Athlete Training + Health, with earlier internship experience at Nicholls State and Revive Performance Training.
A native of Houma, Louisiana, Dupre earned his Master's in Educational Leadership from Nicholls State University in 2023 and his Bachelor's in Exercise Science Fitness Studies from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette in 2019.
Bruce Billings Jr
Throwing Coach
Bruce Billings Jr. brings more than a decade of professional pitching across three countries to the Push Performance staff.
A San Diego native, Bruce pitched collegiately at San Diego State. He was drafted by the Phillies in 2006 but returned to school, then signed with the Colorado Rockies as a 2007 pick. He climbed the Rockies' system to his Major League debut in May 2011 and went on to pitch for three franchises: Colorado, Oakland, and the New York Yankees.
He later took his career to the Chinese Professional Baseball League, where he reestablished himself as a durable front-line starter notching 400-plus strikeouts across three seasons with the Uni-President 7-Eleven Lions and Fubon Guardians.
The draft grind, the climb, the big-league stage, and a successful run abroad give Bruce firsthand understanding of what it takes to build a pitching career at every level. He brings that to every athlete he works with.
